About Us

Our Founders

Founded on compassion, service, and faith

Based on empathy and love for the underserved, underprivileged, widows, homeless, and those living in severe poverty, Dr. Andrew and Mrs. Margaret Ankamah founded African Neighborhoods And Medical Missions, Inc. in the U.S.A. and Good Samaritan Medical And Rehabilitation Missions in Ghana in 2013.

Dr. Ankamah currently serves as president of both organizations and is also CEO of New Jersey Sports and Spine Medicine, P.C. in Somerset, New Jersey.

A Lifelong Calling to Mission Work

Dr. Andrew and Mrs. Margaret Ankamah have had a passion for worldwide missionary work since they were very young. Growing up in Ghana, they were deeply touched by the generosity of missionaries from the U.S.A., Europe, and other countries who cared for underserved communities in urban areas, rural areas, and remote villages.

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Acts 20:35 KJV

The scripture also teaches us to love one another: “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”

Medical Missions

Dr. and Mrs. Ankamah travel extensively to Africa, Ghana, and other developing countries as missionaries, serving those who lack access to basic medical care and essential services.

Donations & Support

They accept school supplies, wheelchairs, walkers, clothing, shoes, and monetary donations to help families, widows, the homeless, and hospitals.

Faith & Education

Dr. Ankamah teaches and preaches God’s word, while Mrs. Ankamah uses her nursing background to manage mission health screenings and international health education.
